My Top 10 Must-Read Books for 2021

I’ve read so many amazing books this year that I thought I would do a little top 10 must-read book review for you in case you needed some new ones to pick up and enjoy over the Summer holidays.

How to read with kids:

If you’re wondering how I fit in reading with two kids well here are my tips. I read a few pages when Luca wakes up early and while he watches some cartoons in bed. This is normally a motivational or inspiration book to set the tone for my day. I then read a few pages before bed at night and this is normally a wellness book or health book that’s light but inspiring or I’ll stick to a fiction book so I can completely zone out and relax.

My Top 10 Must-Read Books for 2021

  1. The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson

I devoured this book in just a few days and know that I will 100% read it many more times over the years. In fact, I think it’s a great book to read at the start of every year as it will motivate you to take that next step and find simple ways to get ahead each day. I could not recommend this book more.

I have just finished this book and loved it so much that I got it in hardcover and kindle so I could read it wherever I was. One of my big goals for next year is to create a course and so I’ve been learning all about it in this book and figuring out exactly what I need to do to take that next step.

I love Gabby’s books and have read a few of them over the years so I knew I wanted to get my hands on Super Attractor. 1. Untamed by Glennon Doyle

This was such a funny, interesting, thought-provoking, challenging, serious but also light read. It was everything that I wanted it to be and you would expect from Glennon. She is an absolute powerhouse and gets you to stop and think about why you think certain things, act certain ways, and how to discover who you are. I loved this book and would recommend it to any woman as a must-read this summer.

  1. Liquids Till Lunch by Mary Ruth Ghiyam

This was such a great read and one that I finished within a week. I love health books that give you new ideas and inspiration and this book did exactly that. I love how simple her ideas are to implement but how incredibly powerful and life-changing they can be if you do them every day. It’s also a great book about overcoming obstacles, staying strong, and building a strong mind and body to be able to hand all that life can throw at us.

Now, this next book is slightly more airy-fairy I guess you would say but I enjoyed it and loved her story, how she writes, and her knowledge behind finding your dharma which is defined as your life’s purpose. A really interesting read!
