3 Tips To Help You Move Through A Fussy Eating Stage as Quickly and Easily As Possible

Fussy eating can be so difficult! It’s exhausting, stressful, and just plain annoying.Am I right!Luca’s just been through one and so I thought I would share a few tips on how I managed to move through it super quickly and without losing my mind (hehe).

3 Tips to Move Through A Fussy Eating Stage with your little one:

1.Focus on the healthy foods your little ones love. For the last few day's I’ve filled Luca’s diet with all his favourites from maple tofu bites, tomato lentil pasta, soy berry yogurt, green smoothies, and avocado toast. I haven’t tried anything new and I’ve just let him have his favourites. Now I’m back into adding in new foods and he’s so much happier to try them after having a few days of simple comfort foods.2. Add in a daily Smoothie.Smoothies are my favourite way to get high-quality nutrients into my kid's diet if they’re being fussy. Fill it with plant milk, spinach, frozen banana, seeds, nut butter, berries, and more. I share my family’s daily smoothie recipes on my Instagram so make sure to follow me for some new recipes.

3.Get them involved in the kitchen.I let Luca choose his veggies for Dinner, help make our green smoothies, add hemp seeds into his yogurt, and more. It makes them feel like they’re part of it and that they have a choice. Trust me it works!I share more of my favourite fussy eating tips in The Gentle Sleep Coach new online course (out next month) so make sure to check it out. Click here for all the details. If you’d like to try some of Luca’s absolute favourite healthy recipes such as the maple tofu, green pancakes, lentil tomato pasta, and our favourite smoothies then take a look at my book ‘My Plant-Based Family’ for 50 of my family's favourite recipes (e-book and hardcopy available).Click here to check out my book.
