10 plant-based nourishing snack ideas for your toddler

Let’s be honest if you have a busy little toddler at home you’re probably a slave to the snacks just like me. Two to three times a day you have to come up with interesting and delicious snack ideas for your toddler that they’ll actually eat, which is no easy feat. So I’m here to help. I know we’re all losing our minds being stuck inside at the moment with level 4 lockdown and we’re all just trying to do our best so I thought I would create a little snack list for you to make mealtimes easier and so you always have some yummy snack ideas for your toddler up your sleeve. Sound good? Some of these are one-off snacks and others are more snacks plates which is what my kids tend to enjoy the most.

Here are 10 plant-based nourishing snack ideas for your toddler

  1. Peanut butter rice cake, chickpea chocolate cookie (free recipe pdf here), and frozen mango.
  2. Chia pudding with caramelised banana and blueberries (recipe here)
  3. Yogurt bowl with berries, chia, flax and, hemp hearts
  4. Raw carrots, hummus + crackers, cashews and, tomato
  5. Peanut butter + hemp hearts cracker, Chocolate Energy Bliss Ball (recipe from my e-book) and, grapes
  6. Blueberry and Zucchini Breakfast Muffins (recipe here)
  7. Peanut butter + Jam + hemp heart toast
  8. Banana Bites topped with peanut butter and jam or peanut butter and raisins
  9. Hummus with pita and cucumber
  10. Apple + peanut butter, cucumber and, a cookie
