Two Breakfast Jars You Need To Make This Weekend

Okay, so these breakfast jars have been incredible this week! I don’t know which one I love more but what I do know is that you have to make them ASAP. Having a few healthy breakfasts/ snacks all ready to go in the fridge is such a game changer for when you have one of those crazy mornings or days. These jars have saved me this week and I can’t wait for you to make them as well. Here’s how you do it.

First Step: I like to make my own plant-based milk for my overnight jars. This is definitely an extra step and nto needed but I love that it means I know exactly what’s in my jars and that they are as clean and as healthy as possible. I’ll leave it up to you if you give this step a go or skip straight to the jars.

Blender Milk - makes 4 cups of milk

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of cashews

  • 1 tbsp of almond butter

  • A splash of vanilla

  • A small handful of coconut chips

  • 1-2 tbsp of maple or honey

Blend with 4 cups of water. You don’t need to strain this milk so it’s literally ready to go when you are. It will last for 4 days in the fridge.

Chia Pudding Jars (makes 3-4 jars)

  • 1/2 cup of chia seeds

  • 3 cups of plant-based milk

  • Splash of vanilla

Mix everything together really well then let it thicken for 30 minutes before scooping it into jars and topping it with blueberries, walnuts, raw buckwheat, and maple.

Bircher Jars (single jar recipe)

  • 1/4 cup of rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds

  • tbsp of hemp seeds

  • Pinch of cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp of cacao nibs

  • 1 tbsp of goji berries

  • 1 cup of milk

Mix all the ingredients together in a jar and then let it thicken for 15 minutes before topping it with fruit and maple.

Store both jars in the fridge until you’re ready to enjoy them.

Thank you so much IE Produce for sponsoring today’s post. You can find all the ingredients you need to make these delicious jars at their Takapuna store.

Who’s planning on making these?
