7 Toddler Lunch Ideas for your Week

If you’re anything like me you find Lunches the hardest. You’ve normally been out and about all morning and by the time you get back home everyone’s hungry, a little grumpy and you need to whip up Lunch as quick as possible.

Sound about right?

If that’s the case I have just made your week so much easier!!

I have gathered 7 Toddler Lunch ideas for your week for you to choose from to hopefully make your day just a little bit easier.

The options:

  • Avocado wrap with cucumber slices, fruit with nut butter, cookie + crackers
  • Sushi rolls, tomatoes, apple, and peanut butter, veggies, and hummus
  • Avocado toast, cashews, and PB date + veggies
  • Sushi roll again, edamame, tomatoes, avocado, and a sweet treat
  • Buckwheat pancakes, fruit, crackers and hummus, and cucumber slices
  • Baked beans, hummus, and pita, mango, and cucumber

My kid's favourite protein-rich chocolate smoothie 👇
I’ve been making this delicious, super creamy, super nourishing protein smoothie for the kids lately and it has been the biggest hit!
Ingredient breakdown:
🔅Frozen bananas for creaminess, sweetness, and fibre
🔅Cacao powder for magnesium and iron
🔅Pumpkin seeds for zinc
🔅Hemp seeds for protein and omega’s
🔅Dates for natural sweetness
🔅Peanut butter for extra healthy fats and protein
🔅Protein powder for a boost of protein
🔅Soy milk for calcium
Like I said it's jam-packed with all the good stuff we want our little ones to be nourished with.
Here’s how you make it:
Protein Rich Chocolate Smoothie.
Serves 2-4
🔅2 frozen bananas
🔅1 tsp of cacao powder
🔅1 tbsp of pumpkin seeds
🔅1 tbsp of hemp seeds
🔅2 Medjool dates
🔅1 scoop of @gogood chocolate vegan protein powder
🔅1 ½ cups of calcium-fortified soy milk
🔅Handful of ice

You guys know I love my afternoon matcha latte but lately, I’ve been mixing it up and adding in this creamy, nourishing Superfood Blender Hot Chocolate.
It’s everything you could want. It’s rich, chocolatey, full of goodness and it gives you the best little afternoon boost.
It’s also iron rich and immune boosting which makes it even more special.
Here’s how to make it;

Serves 1
🔅6 @seleno.health cacao drops
🔅2 Medjool dates, pip removed
🔅1 tsp of @superfeast reishi powder
🔅A small handful of raw cashews
🔅1 cup of boiling water

You guys know I love a ‘What I Eat In A Day’ on a Wednesday so here it is 💕.I hope this provides some new ideas and inspires you to add more goodness into your day. I’m all about adding in the goodness 🍋🍊🥑🍌🍍🥝🥭🍅🔅7 am - warm lemon water
🔅7.45 am - Bircher muesli with berries and banana
🔅8.30 am -  double shot coconut milk flat white enjoyed outside in the morning sun 💕.
🔅10 am - berry spirulina smoothie also enjoyed outside in the sun (this seems to be the theme for today 😂). Recipe on my blog.
🔅1 pm - leftover veggie soup
🔅2 pm - superfood matcha latte + a slice of my chocolate slice. I definitely need to share this recipe. It’s so yummy.
🔅7.30 pm -  teriyaki veggie tofu stir fry (I shared the recipe yesterday).And that’s it. Lots of colour, variety and deliciousness in my day but nothing too hard or difficult to make.Did you enjoy this? You guys asked for the recipe over and over again so here it is. My go-to 10-minute teriyaki tofu stir fry.
It’s full of vegetables, so easy to make and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait for you to try it.
My 10-Minute Teriyaki Tofu Stir Fry - serves 2-3
🔅150 grams of organic soba noodles
🔅1 tsp of coconut oil
🔅Knob of ginger
🔅1 small chili, sliced
🔅½ a red onion
🔅½ a broccoli
🔅4 button mushrooms
🔅1 zucchini
🔅½ a packet of firm tofu
🔅2 tbsp of smooth peanut butter
🔅4 tbsp of teriyaki sauce
🔅Juice 1 lime
Topping
🔅Coriander leaves
🔅Cashews
🔅Sesame seeds
🔅Microgreens
1️⃣Add boiling water to a pot and add your noodles. Cook for 8 minutes.
2️⃣While the noodles cook chop your vegetables, ginger, and chili and cut your tofu in half and then into cubes.
3️⃣Heat your wok until hot and add coconut oil.  Add your vegetables, tofu, peanut butter, teriyaki sauce, and lime. Toss the vegetables until everything is covered in sauce.
4️⃣Once the noodles are ready, drain them then add to the wok and mix in.
5️⃣Top with pan-roasted cashews and sesame seeds, coriander, micro greens, and another squeeze of lime juice.
